Akushima is not a nice guy overall. He might have his moments, depending on who he's up against, but most of the time he's a jackass with a megaphone who wants to arrest or kill anyone for even minor offenses - and takes great pleasure in doing so. So, for my sanity, please feel free to comment if you either would prefer I never tag your character(s) with him, or if you don't mind.
We don't have to be in a game together. If you just happen to see me around anywhere, you're welcome to comment with your preferences. I'm not a mind-reader, and while I will attempt to keep his behavior within an acceptable level, there will be more times than not that it would be more IC for him to be a giant dick. I apologize for the fact that he is such a massive dick.
Aside from his violent behavior, he also enjoys shouting profanities at the top of his lungs. I will keep his language away from racial slurs, and I will never let him use the word "cunt" in any context because I think it's deplorable no thank you gross. His most common curse words are the following: damn, fuck, and shit. Actually, I think that's all he says.
Please note, despite his asshole behavior, I will NEVER have him attempt to rape yours without explicit, OOC discussion first and agreement with you. However, I am not against having him do it. I would rather speak with the players themselves on an individual basis on such a slippery topic should interest arise, but I'll be leaving an opt-in/out question for that too.

Because the games don't really give a whole lot of detail about Akushima, and he doesn't even get his own route, that leaves me up to trying to figure out the everyday ins-and-outs of him behind the scenes. If you find that you disagree with any headcanon that I have listed, please let me know so we can talk about it. c:
1.) Akushima used to be a decent cop, if not a good one.
With all the corrupt behavior in Midorijima, it's no surprise that even Akushima has succumbed to the whole "If I don't play as dirty as everyone else, if not more so, then the bad guys walk free. Which leaves them around to perpetuate their filthy habits." Too many times of playing by the rules and being snubbed, or getting to watch a perp walk, has been too much for his morality to bear. For his own sanity, he has let go of his own morals and looks through a lens tinted in a gray-to-black spectrum. Anything unknown is a potential threat, and threats must be arrested or killed. No exceptions, and he will pursue like the hounds of hell.
This isn't to say that he's always in a hunting mode like this. There are always bound to be times when he makes exceptions.
Children, however, are another story. They are "white" even if they are clearly misbehaving. Children can be taught to behave if they haven't already learned how to do so, and to become upstanding citizens that he's not as likely to turn his megaphone onto. If there's no one else around, Akushima doesn't mind to take a little bit of time to educate them. It is one of less than a handful of times that his insane bad-guy exterior drops and the original Akushima shows through.
2.) Akushima takes his coffee lightly sweetened.
Generally with one tiny amount of half-and-half (or something with a different flavor) and two sugars. He also does enjoy sweet things, like chocolate, but tends to hide it from others in case it makes him look less intimidating, or more human. Doughnuts are also delicious - and the ones with sprinkles are awesome. But he'll deny it forever if he has to. At coffee shops, he likes fancy drinks.
3.) His house is one-half mess, one half-immaculate.
Anywhere that is frequently traveled is a disaster zone - from the entryway to the kitchen to the bedroom. The living room is very clean, as is the bathroom. Because NOT cleaning that often enough is not an option. Oft-traveled spots tend to have boot prints or just general clutter.
